FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Health Network One (HN1), a leader in specialty network management, plans to support the Florida Disaster Fund during the 2024 Florida Association of Health Plans (FAHP) Annual Conference with a contribution of up to $10,000.
Administered by Volunteer Florida, the Florida Disaster Fund is the state’s official private fund dedicated to supporting disaster relief and recovery efforts across Florida. The fund provides critical financial assistance to individuals, families and communities affected by natural disasters. Services offered range from immediate need to long-term recovery initiatives, including the delivery of food, shelter, medical care, rebuilding homes, restoring essential service and aiding local businesses.
"As an organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of communities, we recognize the importance of supporting our neighbors in times of need,” said Heyward Donigan, Incoming Chief Executive Officer of HN1. “Our contribution to the Florida Disaster Fund is a testament to HN1’s commitment to helping rebuild the lives of those affected and supporting the long-term recovery of the state."
As the presenting sponsor of the Florida Association of Health Plans (FAHP) Conference, HN1 will use this platform to further its commitment to the state’s recovery and future health initiatives. The conference, taking place from December 2-4 in Orlando, will bring together key healthcare leaders, policymakers and industry experts to discuss the future of healthcare in Florida. Topics of discussion will include advancing healthcare innovation, fostering collaboration across the industry and promoting initiatives that enhance the quality of care for individuals and communities throughout the state.
HN1 invites all conference attendees to stop by their booth at the FAHP Annual Conference to submit their business cards. The first 50 attendees to submit a business card will be named in the donation to the Florida Disaster Fund.
