FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Health Network One announced today the appointment of Dr. H. Kelley Riley, MD, MBA, as its new Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Riley will lead the company's clinical strategy and oversee all medical functions, reporting directly to the CEO. In this role, he will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive clinical excellence, enhance operational performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Dr. Riley brings over two decades of medical leadership experience to Health Network One. Most recently, he served as Chief Medical Officer at SummaCare, where he played a key role in implementing health and wellness initiatives. Prior to that, he held CMO positions at Rite Aid and its subsidiary, Elixir, where he focused on clinical strategy and operational improvements. His career also includes leadership roles at myNEXUS and BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, providing him with extensive expertise in managed care and specialty health services.
In his role at Health Network One, Dr. Riley will be responsible for developing and executing the organization’s clinical strategy, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective healthcare delivery. He will oversee the development of clinical protocols, lead physician recruitment and credentialing, and drive clinical integration across the company’s specialty networks. Additionally, he will play a critical role in compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards while enhancing patient safety.
Dr. Riley earned his M.D. from Michigan State University and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University. He also holds a B.S. in Physiology from Michigan State and is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), highlighting his expertise in medical coding and healthcare compliance.
