Health Network One Appoints Joan Russo as General Counsel

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Health Network One, a leading specialty management company providing value-based solutions that help health plans improve outcomes, today announced the appointment of Joan Russo, JD, as its new General Counsel. In this position, Russo will oversee legal affairs, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.

With more than two decades of leadership experience in healthcare, Russo brings a wealth of expertise. She joins Health Network One from Alvarez & Marsal’s Health Industry Group, where she served for nearly nine years as Managing Director, spearheading strategic turnarounds and operational improvements for health plans and providers nationwide. Her leadership spans commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, managed long-term care, and PACE programs. She is known for executing complex initiatives that drive performance across cost of care, compliance, and organizational culture.

Russo holds a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University. She is licensed to practice law in the states of Florida, New York, and New Jersey.
